Angie pinned this look a while back and I just loved it so I decided to try to recreate it.
I think next time I will stay more true to the inspiration photo. The solid white shirt is a crisper, simpler look than the printed one I wore. And if the weather was warmer I think I would prefer the look with the heels sans socks rather than the booties I have on. All in all, I think it turned out okay. I'm swooning over the jacket in this inspiration photo though...isn't it AMAZING???
As an aside, I am wearing the HECK out of these Aquatalia booties!!! So glad I bit the bullet and bought them!!!
Thoughts and comments much appreciated. Do you agree that a more faithful interpretation would have been more successful? Or did my version work?
