Angie, the brown rinse is the one that Maya was wearing at the NY YLF meeting. I do not remember if you liked it for yourself, but you did on Maya

Tanya, you are the best bargain hunter in the world!!! Looks like it is mostly smaller sizes and though the prices are tempting, I am staying focused on finding either the Joe's Muse in Perry or the Huttons in Dark Paris at a bargain price. I am keeping an eye out for you for the muse for you too! Size 26, right?

I'm a bit confused. My jeans are black, not brown.

I had been eyeing the Paige Premium Rising Glen jeans to fulfill my high rise bootcut void, but they were too expensive before, and now they're out of stock in my size

Maya, I agree, your jeans are back-ish indeed. They just call that wash 'brown rinse' for some reason, but it is not brown.

I am sorry the Rising Glen is sold out in your size. Do you need 26 or 27? I'll tell you if I spot them somewhere else.

I'm actually not sure Tanya. I can say pretty confidently that a 26 will not fit. I don't fit into any of my 26's anymore and now sometimes even a 27 feels snug

I have never tried PP jeans before, but I am a pretty consistent 27.

Tanya -- Just today I received my R&S high-waisted pinstripe jeans that you pointed out on Overstock.com, and now this! Thank you.

The description talks about them being "dark denim that fades to black," but if you enlarge the photo, it shows a fairly bright blue with no color variations. Anyone know what they look like in real life?

I have a history with them for showing one wash and getting another. So, the two washes are shown on the stock photo and big photo are definitely different. I have seen them both in person and they are both lovely and uniform - none of them is faded.

The first wash is called 'rinse' and here it is on another site:

The second, brighter wash is called 'silky'.

If you like them both, you could gamble and order them and see if you like whatever you receive You can always return them if you don't like them.

I will be loving the pinstripe jeans, as soon as I get them hemmed about four inches...

It has been a long time since I've worn high-waisted jeans, and it's amazing how shapely they make you look from the back, even if you're not particularly shapely from the back.

So I got my Rich & Skinny High Jeans from SmartBargains... Even though they are the same size as the pinstriped R&S jeans that I got on Tanya's other brilliant sale last week, they are way too tight. I guess the cut is different, though both are high-waisted.

Incidentally, the puzzling "fade to black" Butterfinger wash turns out to be a very very dark indigo (complete with a warning about not sitting on white sofas!) It doesn't look any more black to me than other very dark washes.

Boo hoo -- these will have to go back. But the pinstriped ones are at the tailor's as we speak, getting PPL'd!

April, Rich and Skinny seems to be all over the place with sizing. I also have the high jeans, which I found were TTS, so I ordered the same exact jeans (same name and everything) in the same size, but with a skinny leg, and they felt a full size smaller.

Smartbargains also apparently make it a habit to send the wrong wash. That's how I ended up buying Tanya's jeans from her!

April, I am sorry to hear that the second pair of jeans did not fit. R&S sizes do vary, as Maya says. I have them in both 26&27 depending on the cut.

Looking forward to seeing photos of you in the pinstriped pair and I hope you enjoy them.
