Truthfully, I don't know HOW to shop it. Deals appear and disappear throughout the day. I can't sit on the computer, hoping to hit it just right.

I just ordered a pair of white NYDJ cropped pants that were already on my Amazon wish list. The price was originally $88, but had dropped to around $40 before Amazon Prime Day. I got them for $32. My thinking is that I'm not going to buy something I haven't already planned to buy, especially now that my wardrobe is pretty much the way I want it to be. That's it for my Amazon Prime Day shopping.

Just a couple things (they go 30 percent off in your cart with prime membership) that people might find of interest. But it's very time consuming to search and I will stop.

Yes, it's too time consuming to search. I just checked to see if the pants I already had on my wish list would be marked down, and they were after I moved them to my cart.

Yeah I could spend all day just looking around. I must say the urgency they are pushing turns me off a bit too. I like to look around and think about it before making a decision.

I'm sure they count on impulse purchases. Other than checking to see if the price would drop on the pants I wanted, I didn't bother to look around.

The whole process is less than easy to navigate and certainly not user friendly. It's a challenge to isolate prime day pricing from regular pricing by brand, for example. Some discounts are $1.00. It seems like it has turned the whole site into the grocery store candy rack by the cashiers; designed to foster unintended impulse buys. I have always been good at walking right by those.

Funny Xtabay! I bought the two necklaces I had in my wishlist. I had seen them both at Nordstrom so I knew exactly what I was getting. Other than that it just seems too time consuming to weed through--I've got dog walking for goodness sakes!

I've looked a bit. Please talk me out of ordering the splendid thermal hoodie that I've been eyeing for months. It is well over 100* here. Plus, I think it's probably too short in the back for me. Hmm. It looks so cozy and not too heavy for winter. Erm, I mean if I had much winter. I have fall like winter. This is why I do so much returning. I wish I'd have a place to try some of these things on. What happens is I imagine it's going to look great on me until I get it and try it. Then I can move easily on.

I'm going to buy a Instapot that I already had on my wishlist. But I'm not going searching. BTW, I couldn't tell what was on sale just by looking at my wish list, I had to actually click into each item. Kind of a pain.

You'll love the Instapot. I ended up getting mine for free after the shipping was screwed up. Amazon's price today is very, very good.
