Leah over at the blog Stylewise has written two really good pieces on Everlane, from the perspective of an ethical blogger who is an Everlane affiliate and was one of their early supporters.

I have a feeling there are lots of busted unionization efforts we never even hear about because the brand doesn't have a high enough profile or the organizers don't have the right combination of media savvy, connections, and luck to make it into the national news cycle. There are very, very few sources for union-produced goods.
A big question I have is, what would an ethical lay-off look like? Is it possible? The unemployment numbers right now are mind-blowing. We're going to be picking up the pieces for a long time.
