I received a Nordstrom catalogue in the mail today, and am planning on ordering soon... due to a pile-up of Angie recommends and my own wishlist needing to be decided upon.

About the catalogue though - toward the end of the latest Nordstrom catalogue is one of those open-up and peel open fragrance samples - it's Jo Malone's Nectarine Blossom and Honey...and it's the prettiest fragrance I've smelled in a really long time. It's sweet, but at the same time - it's an elegant sweet, not a cloying sweet.

It's so lovely that I'm going to order tomorrow - get my Nordstrom wish list cleared off and get some of this beautiful cologne.

Have to say, this is the first time that a fragrance insert in a catalogue or magazine has prompted me to hurry up and order already. Does this seem silly? That some fragrance in a catalogue is what motivates me to finally order up all the stuff I've been wanting to order for awhile now?

Funny, what works to get me moving. Clearly, a beautiful fragrance or smell works on me.

Has this ever happened to you?
