Dear Fabbers,
Every fall I get some little craving for cozy knitted sweaters or cardigans, annd most of the time I try some on, realize it is not my thing and move on. But this time I really want them, or so it feels...
I am very careful about purchasing sweaters, because I have the experience of buying some, then not feeling like me in them (and not feeling the least good looking and stylish) and passing them on. Currently, I have only two or three sweaters in my wardrobe that I would wear, but not too often. And I am ordering and trying on sweaters. I wonder what is going on - is it a seasonal confusion, which will soon pas or a slight style shift to a bit more casual and a bit less structured outfits?
So beside the black sweater dress I ordered a bunch of sweaters to try.

1. lilac wool and cashmere blend from ESISTO. I really like it, both the colour and the style, so tags went off and I wore it to work today, accessorized with a lavish silk scarf and navy wide trousers with navy chunky oxfords. I added a colour blocked bag which picks up the lilac and blue colours (from La Martina).

2.
The other outfit I show you here is the same sweater, but with another silk scarf, burgundy cotton trousers and blush suede chelsea boots.

3. longer taupe wool cardigan with a copper metallic thread in the knit. nice quality, but is it me? Is it flattering enough? I styled it with taupe trousers to create a tonal look and different versions - with a scarf, with a little ladies tie and a brooch and with a patterned silk blouse (also a tonal look. I am not a fan of this sweater or the styling and will most probably send it back, unless you strongly would disagree with me.

4. dark blue wool/cashmere cardigan, one possible styling shown here, but it could be really versatile. On the fence with this one.... Is it my style and will I wear it or reach for a blazer instead? Advantage - endless possibilities to play with brooches and scarves....

Feedback on the above will be much appreciated.
Photoes will come shortly.
