Am I mad?

I am cringing. I thought these, dare I say, "fanny packs", had been around much longer than I could stand it already.
However I can see that you are going to reinvent it as a 90's revival piece so I hope you enjoy it and have fun.

San, fanny in English-English means your "woohoo" not your bottom. It's the front part and not the back. I *cannot* say fannypack (cringing).

Good for you LouLou. It's all about trying new things and keeping your style exciting.
I do like that it is the quilted fabric which gives it a Chanelesque flavor.

You're slightly mad but adorably so! I think you could pull it off with panache if you wore a simple but modern outfit and then use this piece as the retro twist in it... I'm seeing it with skinnies, flats and some sort of grey top- can't wait to see your outfits!

I also cannot say fanny-pack without cringing. The variations within the English language are so interesting.

San, you are SO in tune with Chanel -esque style. I'm impressed.

So, I woud wear the moonbag over a straight sleek modern black sleeveless sheath dress and ballet flats. I'm EXCITED. I haven't seen any here yet. UK is one up on us! I bet they are all over HK.
