$148 for what is essentially a fabric bag that I'd use on very limited fancy occasions. But I really like it. =P

ETA: There is a tote bag too... much more reasonable at $58. Apparently it is for children? Tempted.

Not crazy to want but mebbe to buy.

I like merwoman's suggestion--the Sisterhood of the Traveling Clutch(es).

I don't currently have a true fashion-sister twin in town, but if I did, I would really like to play SYC in each other's closets and share dressy clutches, wraps, necklaces and other items you only need once a year.

Super duper cute! Still not sure I would spend that much for a clutch I could only use occassionally.

Eh... spanner here... I think the colors say "retirement in Florida" and would be difficult to look clever with.

I wouldn't buy that clutch at that price. I'd find someone on Etsy to make me a clutch from a similar Liberty Print of my choice.

I might go for the tote bag, if I were you and thought it would work with my clothes (I haven't seen your spring/summer looks yet). Unlike the clutch it seems quite practical as a summer purse, beach/pool bag, etc. It's definitely a unique and I think, quite beautiful pattern, but one that wouldn't fit into *my* wardrobe well. There's no point in loving an item's pattern if you don't love the way it looks with your other stuff and therefore never use it, or use it and don't enjoy it. Sometimes I have to love random stuff from afar...

If I got that, I would wear it around all day like a piece of clothing, and then have some kind of neutral tote under my desk that contained bigger things like sunglasses. Not a very sleek solution but ask me how I came up with it--that's what I do because I have several little bags that are too small to be practical!

Huh, I actually really like it! Too bad it is too small to wear all the time. How big is the tote? If it is for girls at may be small as well.

The tote is 8 x 14 which would be a nice size, but no zip or closure for security if using as a purse. The print is one of those borderline I know my grandma wore it in the 70's, but now it's kind of cool. I love the colors of it.

I know, Jeanne. The lack of zipper means the tote is not very practical for everyday either.... I guess I will just admire from afar from now, and maybe they'll go on sale or j crew will make more stuff in that print...
