It got me started thinking about where it might be better to have the stiffness of leather and where the give of jersey. Depends on where
one's lumpy spots are, I guess.

If you're nuts, I'll have to join you in crazy-town. I spotted that dress earlier and I've been finding myself repeatedly going back to it, trying to justify it, picturing myself at the busstop with the kids in the snow.....and telling myself its totally practical for my life. Delusional much? I hope you get it, make it work, and post pictures. I'll continue stalking leather dresses and working on my justifications.....

Rae, I too prefer DC to BP and I also like Liam (of course,I was a Gabriel Byrne and Jean Reno fan as a late-teen, so my taste may be a little off

I will join you in your craziness, cuz I think the dress is fab and the price is so reasonable :). Sometimes I'm drawn to things like that, even though I know they aren't practical, because they fit somehow with a fantasy life I'd like to lead. I remember Una had a thread about this once: How we sometimes create stories about certain garments.

I also say not crazy! It could probably be made into a work outfit if you didn't get one as tight as it is on the model, the one you described sounded nice to me though no matter what you do with this dress short of covering it up it's going to be quite bombshell. I don't know how conservative your work is, though
