Alumni Awards Banquet outfit?

In March I'm attending an alumni banquet where an old friend is getting award.
It's dinner, open bar, and the awards. Small liberal arts college.

kkards, yeah it's in NW. So pretty casual. I wouldn't be surprised if I see jeans there. I figured I could also wear this at other times.

You could absolutely wear it to alumni events at the liberal arts college I went to, (which is an east coast crunchy one.) Hope you have a grand time!

I think would work especially if accessorized to “ festive” in some way— alumni banquet to me is not killer cocktail attire, more varied/ murky dress code but “honoring the honoree “ and making an effort to look nice.
I’m very much in favor of trying to buy things that are versatile and not one- time wonders. Also for alumni events one wants something flattering, and comfortable in the sense of feeling good abou ones’ self!

Please do! And for another occaision accessorize with your cherry facinator/headdress. Actually, if it feels nice and fits well, I could see this as a workhorse with versatility and lots of fun applications.

Love it and think it's fresh, feminine and eye catching. I'm thinking you'll be mostly indoors anyway and will have time to plan for another layer or outerwear.
