Thanks in advance for helping me on this issue!

Many people pointed to the problem of durability, dressiness, and practicality as far as the silk trench was concerned (photo 4). What are your thoughts on these runners up? I already own a polyester black London Fog coat, and thought a neutral colour might be worthwhile (to complement my non-beige tops).

I have medium brown hair with a reddish tinge, pale skin with very pink undertones (not an even complexion) and green eyes.

of he bunch, i like the brit one with the piping.

london and brit are diffusion lines. i have a brit coat, i don't think it's as well made as the standard burberry line.

of these options, I would vote #1 or #3. If my fairy Godmother was buying for me, it would be #3 for sure based on my skin/hair coloring. I am not sure the blue would work as well based upon your description of yours though... Can you try them on to eval the colors on yourself in an actual store?

I love the piping one. But it's very different from the one you posted. if you're spending the money, go with your heart.

the first one is quite close to the silk one. while it's lighter than the cotton garbadine models carried on the burberry website, it has one advantage--i can wear in the middle east in the summers, when modesty is a necessary factor!

The first one, it is timeless, a better investment. The trim model and the blue one will date after a few years, as color trends come and go. But neutrals are timeless.

I would go with something that is simple in a classic color. That's just me.
