The title says it all. I live in Arizona, so it'll soon be in the triple digits. I really just don't like shorts (ironic, huh?), but before being a SAHM I could pretty much avoid wearing them during the week since I worked in an office. But now with having kids and taking them to splashpads and other warm weather stuff, I can't really still wear my jeans.

I'm 5'2, and somewhat muscular, so finding shorts that fit my somewhat large thighs is hard. And then being on the petite side, I feel like shorts look best with heels, which I can't wear running around with the kids. Ideas? I have some maxi skirts, but those still tend to be a bit warm. Maybe I need ones that aren't rayon? Thanks for the input!
