I just can't help my "more bang for your buck" philosophy. I think it's because I am still trying to build my wardrobe and it's going slow. Anyway, I of course headed to Target on my way home to look for a yellow necklace and came home with several things that I haven't had time to try on/style yet but thought I'd share the shoes I chose.
I tried on several pairs of heels in an effort to look/feel more like a grown up. Instead, I looked/felt more like a clumsy hooker. So I opted for these wedge booties to wear with tights and dresses/skirts. Hoping these will maybe lead me to heels eventually.
I also got:
*a teal pencil skirt...
I plan to wear it with all black (the wedge booties, tights, and top) and hope to find a great necklace with teal in it.
* a plaid flannel...
for a look I found on pinterest that I want to try with a sweater I have (can you believe I didn't have a plaid flannel?!?)
* a thin, flowy jacket that's black with a floral print..
I have no idea how else to describe it and it isn't online, but it spoke to me for some reason so I'm interested to try to style it.
* I also got a new pair of thick black tights. Mine were looking pretty worn out and the stretch was gone in them.
