FYI, this is not a K/R because I've already decided to R.
Anyhow, I thought it was interesting how this dress fit, both in tightness and in length, on different body types. So to add another data point, here's a photo of me in the dress. I'm 5'3", and the dress is US sz 4, one size down from my normal All Saints size (out of stock).
I personally don't think it's too short or clingy, although the extra drape/volume provided from a size up would be nice.
