This was my latest try for a navy shoe:

I loved the look- the textured leather plus the black straps and heel made it really interesting. The heel is a little higher than I prefer but doable. But the fit was very weird. Even with my heel solidly against the back, there was a big gap at the ankle. I considered trying a size down but the front may have been too tight, plus I'm sure there would have still been some gap. So, back it goes.
Sigh. The search for a navy shoe or sandal continues. And that's more $ in the budget for NAS!
