I love these shoes in navy (and every other color). They fit well with the addition of thin insoles and are elegant, versatile and comfortable. They stay on my heels and belong in my closet. Of course, they earned a Top Pick designation.
When I looked at the bottom of the soles , I noticed a couple of round bulges on each side near the toes. Later, when I tried them on, I felt the bulges. A closer look reveals that these are the two screws or bolts that hold the metal forefoot embellishment in place. This may take them off the table for me. Anyone else notice them? Talk about fussy feet. Everything else about these shoes is perfect, yet I wonder how impactful this will be since even with insoles, they are obvious and they protude enough into the sole that I fear it could impact the wear there also. A defect particular to this pair or just how they all are? Any experiences to share?
