That's exactly where my hair is headed! I don't color my hair and it's starting to gray. That catalog is speaking my language--I wish they had an American outpost.

I don't think they're unhappy, Rita, just intense :).

Yep, I totally remember Tweeds. I loved their stuff. In fact, I have a white t-shirt from Tweeds that I still wear. It's got a boxy cut that suddenly looks very stylish, LOL.

I remember a Tweeds wide-whale corduroy dark mossy green jacket that I used to wear all the time. But honestly, this was a REALLY, REALLY long time ago!

I TOTALLY want this look.

Someone (sorry, forget who) posted a link to an earlier catalogue of theirs, too. Much as I loved the clothes, I loved the nature photos even more, for their colour inspiration.

Anyone know what the fit is like?

Not that I can get this in Canada anyway, unless I want to pay more than I can afford.

Astrid, if you're reading, check out the belt on p.64. If you took the buckles off your new dress, a belt in this style would sort of reproduce that cool effect.

It's a good thing I don't get this catalog. I LOVE that look. I want to go grey like she has - it looks great.

I totally remember Tweeds - back when it was big, everything in it was WAY too expensive for me, but I loved that look. Also the old Allen Allen (not the current incarnation) with those flowy linens...

Jonesy and Una, you both would look amazing with grey streaks. Maybe I could even get a RATE look if I let my hair go curly and messy.

I watched two movies recently that made me long for fluffy hair again: Fatal Attraction (Glen Close and Anne Archer) and When Harry Met Sally (Meg Ryan). The volume is good for my pin-sized head atop broad shoulders, ha!

Thanks for sharing this catalogue bj! The woman looks like she's in her 40s, I like the older woman even more ... 60s plus age. Good for them! So many times advertisers use models in the 40s with totally grey hair (also used on TV commercials), they have very few wrinkles but their hair is grey. I think they are supposed to represent an ideal version of someone 50 plus. So I like it when they actually use attractive people who are 65 and have wrinkles as they did in this catalogue (see page 57).
