AG Prima jean vs Stilt in white?

Has anyone tried both these on in person? I know some of you have Stilts and have confirmed the rise is too low for me. Seems the Prima's might have the right rise, but I'm not sure the rest of the fit is the same. I assume they both need to be sized up, being white. I could order off Piperlime for $130 to try on but I'm sort of tired of the returns merry go round and would rather be pretty certain they are 'the ones'. Thanks for any help!

I could tell you about the Prima, cause I just bought my of
Irate pair! The rise is definitely higher, about an inch or two below my actual belly-button, but not like high waist or mom jeans. I am 5'4" and about 118, and I could have gotten the 26 or 27 was best, but sized up to 28 because I need them loose at waist due to back surgery, so pants that really fit hurt my back. Anyway, they are still nice and sleek around bum and thighs, which I like. I hate pants that are really loose there, cause they make me look messy. Took a pic or 2, but now I think I look as big as a horse! Sigh... I hope the info helps

Thank you! I was wondering if the white runs smaller than blue jeans. Often they do. Funny how that works with jeans. I know the Stilts, at 7 1/4 rise, are WAY too low for me, and I've read the Primas are around 8 1/4. I like that rise. A lot.

I'm 5' 4.5" and 120. I wear 27 usually. Thinking of 28's for these. My other white jeans were 28's when I wore 27 in the same brand of blue.

Okay, here's the lowdown - I can get the white Prima's off Amazon in size 27 for only $56 http://www.amazon.com/AG-Adria.....im_sbs_a_5 or I could get the same jeans in size 28 (more likely to fit) off Piperlime for $130 http://piperlime.gap.com/brows.....=745498002 . OR . . . I could try the super skinny white thrasher in size 28's for $48 on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/AG-Adria.....im_sbs_a_4 . Sigh.

Hmmm. You can return free to Amazon? Might be okay to try the 27s in that case?

Suz, I did but now I cancelled Prime I'm not sure. But maybe $6 is worth the gamble to save $80?? These online conundrums really get me going.

I'm glad to hear these are like the Stilt but higher - I really like the Stilt but the rise is also way too low for me. I tried on high-rise jeans this week for the first time in a while - Acne Needle and CoH Elson - and the Elsons fit me perfectly, like mid-rise jeans fit other people with more normal proportions. If I jump on this white-jeans-for-winter bandwagon, I'm eyeing the Elson in white.

And Theodora, there is no way you look big as a horse in those photos. More like small as a miniature pony, to keep the strained analogy going!

Okay, I may just get both the 27 Prima's and the 28 'super skinnies' (curious as to the real model name) off Amazon for sizing purposes for less than the cost of the 28 Prima's through Piperlime. Sheesh. Can't I just live near a real B&M store for once?!?

mo, i tried the stilts in white. love stilts, i sized up in white and take in the waist.

The Prima's that I have are 8 1/" rise, which is great, as I don't have to worry about shirt length ( for photo I folded it up so you could tell where it hit on waist). And no "repairman crack" showing either. What great prices you found! Good luck!
