Looking for a little advice on overhauling my wardrobe. I used to work in an office and travel quite a bit for work, so I had a number of very tight capsules for conferences, client visits, various business trips, and then a fairly large wardrobe of tech-business-casual clothes for the office (lots of blazers, ankle boots, etc). Then, 2020. I added a bunch of joggers and ponte pants and athleisure stuff while working from home and going nowhere but grocery store & hiking. I resisted the urge to change my closet much, as I figured when I went back to the office I would reorganize things. I've changed jobs now, and am fully remote. It's likely that I will have some occasional travel to offices and meetings but not on an everyday basis; perhaps 1x/month. I should also have a few decent dressy outfits. Though I have read through the posts on F/W trends, I feel very out of touch with what is current. I think I need to go through my clothes and inventory them, and probably create a seriously edited WFH wardrobe and a capsule for 5 day trips, and then maybe donate/sell a bunch, and put the rest into deeper storage - or at least farther back in the closet - for now? And I hardly know what to do with all my shoes; I haven't worn my boots (tall or ankle) or oxfords or loafers or flats since early 2020 now. Any advice? Thank you.
