I have been invited to a small horse show club banquet. My friend is wearing dress slacks, sports jacket and tie. Most of the members, women with their husbands are bolder than me, and dress like an older women. It is being held at a country club. Need advise on wardrobe. Would a darker colored dressy jeans, a dressy top and dressy jacket, suit style, with dressy high heels and dressy handbag, accessories jewelry be appropriate? Don't want to be underdressed, as some of the member can be kind of snooty. Need to keep my budget kinda low. Any feedback and advice would certainly be appreciated. Also short on time. Only two weeks away. Thanks!
