My lifestyle is 90% gear-demanding, non-fashionable and a lot like this poster's life. In facing up to facts that my pretty city clothes have been stuck in the closet for months, I have been adding more flattering gear stuff as the old wears out. Even so, things get messy here, with the animals and the cooking and the gardening. I'm sick of trashing perfectly good clothes. So I am herewith committing to the chore apron, even if I wear it all day.
So far, this is the only style I really can stand wearing. I hate the bartender style that pooch at the bust and put stress on my neck. I've made one smock, but I need a half dozen more to avoid laundry bottle-necks. Luckily, it's a dead simple pattern. Now I need to make it a habit. And figure out where to store the clean ones so I remember to put them on. Anyone made a similar resolution and stuck with it?
