Today was a day off work, but a busy one for running errands. I did not intend to buy any clothing, but this jacket followed me home! Would you consider it a trench coat? The lapels 'pop' and do not lie flat, and there are no epaulettes. However it is cut with a slight flare, and ties about the waist.
I cut the tags and swapped out my winter jacket for the rest of the day. It was Rainy and 10degC! Water just beads and rolls off so it was perfect. It came with a hood, which I removed because I don't like hoods.
