Love.It. In a way, it's too bad that no one can get a pixie cut anymore without the inevitable comparison to Mia Farrow...I think Emma Watson owns the look on her own merits...I also think she's really smart to do something like this on the heels of the Harry Potter movies ending - with any luck it will keep her from being typecast.

LOVE IT. My mother rocked a pixie (a touch shorter than Farrow's iconic look) the whole time I was growing up - and it's only a touch longer now.

Not many women have the face shape, features and ears to actually look prettier in such a "boyish" haircut, than in the typically longer hair styles for women. So I personally find it especially appealing and attractive when someone pulls it off so stunningly. It makes it a really special look to me. There are not even many models and actresses, who are obviously known for their physical attractiveness, that look better with very short hair than with the longer styles they've worn.

Those that stand out to me are Linda Evangelista, Halle Berry, Natalie Portman, Kiera Knightly and Charlize Theron.

I love it. My hair was just about that short, and at the time I got a lot of compliments and I liked it, but I was looking at pictures last night and thought I looked hideous. I don't think I had the face shape for it, but she definitely does!

I love this haircut! She definitely looks like Jean Seberg. I'm bringing a picture of this haircut to my hairdresser.

Maya, I hate it when people refer to my short hair as boyish or 'lesbian-chic'. Why can I not be feminine with short hair, and why would someone assume in the 21st century that short hair equals being a lesbian?

Ellen Page is one of those women who would actually look far better with short hair than long hair. Her hair is just overwhelms her face.

It's always interesting how subjective taste is.

I thought Emma Watson's appearence rose to a whole higher level of beauty with this significant change in her haircut. I thought she was pleasantly cute/pretty before with her long hair, but transformed to stunningly gorgeous with this short cut that accentuated all her features.
