I'm a 27 in American high-end denim. What size is best in Acne? Anyone know? Thanks!

I have one pair of Acne jeans. They are straight legs. I sized up so they wouldn't be super tight.
Probably true to size.

I've generally found them to run small. I tried the Needle (high-rise skinny) and Flex (mid-rise skinny) and neither quite fit me right so I returned them. Looks like I ordered both in 26 and 27 (I'm usually a 26, sometimes 25). I remember they were all close to the right fit but tighter than I like, but I can't remember which was best - it was inconsistent, because some of their fabrics stretch more.
