From the forum and her great blog 'Already Pretty.' What on earth do I wear??? She is doing a free 15 minute fashion consultation on Friday, I was lucky enough to score an appt with her and nothing I have is good enough to meet her in

Very cool!

If it were me, I would dress in my favorite and most comfortable outfit. Favorite colors, my FFBO, the whole thing.

This would let me check my color section with an "expert", and also the silhouette that I like. Is it the most flattering? What does the expert think about my choice and how would she go about improving it?

I feel this would give me the most bang for my buck, within 15 mins.

Wow! This should be a perfect pick-me-up, not a source of stress! You'd probably make the most of your time by wearing what you really wear now. She'll be able to see instantly what your starting point is, and you can spend all your time talking about how to get where you want to go! You deserve something fun like this. Have a good time!

I really admire her style, ideas and attitude, so I'm looking forward to it, just wish I didn't feel like a hot mess! lol. I'm going to go thru my stuff and throw some ideas out there, thanks I would love to be able to afford a private, full consultation, but THAT ain't gonna happen, at least for now. I will do that, thanks!

Dress in your favorite outfit. If are drawn to certain colors and silhouette's try to find pictures of those. Most importantly have fun!

I think, put on your favorite FFBO. This would be something reflective of your style, giving her a good idea about it. Plus I'm assuming it's something you would feel comfortable in.

Have you ever downloaded her Style PDF? That might get you pointed in a useful direction. I think it's $5 or $10.

Fun! I've read her blog and my take is that she's real and not judgmental at all. She wouldn't want you to stress over what to wear to meet her! If you want advice on what to wear for your body type, be sure to wear something fitted.

I agree with Denise and Debbie. I like how much she focuses on body positivity and celebrating individual style, rather than blindly following trends. She seems like a sweetheart. You will have to tell us about it afterwards! Have fun!

I think Sal's strengths are color, retro/classic pieces, and body positivity. So if you have any challenges or questions in those areas I'd definitely discuss em with her! It could be good to wear your favorite outfit as others have suggested but bring pictures of any closet orphans or problem colors to see if she can help. Have fun!

Don't worry too much about what you wear, that would be like cleaning before the maid comes (like we all have maids, but you get the picture)!

I will let you all know! I'm so excited....thank you all SO much! I do have her PDF already...need to reread it I would *dearly* love to get a style consultation w/Angie (that WOULD be a dream come true!) but I doubt if it would happen anytime soon.... I live far, far away, in the boonies of Mpls, Mn and although I truly hope I can come to one of the YLF get-togethers and meet some of the fab ladies here, it's not in the forseeable future for me Unless of course, they decide a trip to Mall Of America is in order! HINT-HINT I have about 26 hours to decide what to wear and try very, very hard to look half-ass presentable....

I agree with Lumi. You should get consult from Angie, not Sally. Sally is lovely but she is not a fashion expert. The colors she puts together is often jarring and off putting. No one would look good in them.
