For better or for worse, Net-à-Porter closed my amount without warning due to the number of returns I’ve made in the past year-and-a-half. I never ordered anything frivolously, but between my deformed feet and pearish shape, I found it extraordinarily challenging to find shoes or clothes that fit well. Now I’m worried that Nordstrom will do the same and wonder whether I should speak to CS to find out if I’ve been flagged. I dislike the return process enough that I don’t order things for fun, but in an era of #ootd returns, I don’t think stores will give consumers the benefit of the doubt.
