Accessory Shopping + other items

So this is what I got in terms of accessories and shoes from yesterdays crazy shopping day. I love the glasses, hat, and necklace but not sure about the coat. I don't have a light jacket and this would be perfect for those days your run errands. Keep the jacket or no?

1. glasses: Betsy Johnson from TJ Maxx;
necklace: Filene's basement
2. cloche hat: Anthropolgoie
3. coat/jacket: Anthropologie
4. shoes: Bandolinos at Macy's

I vote no, unfortunately. Your style is usually so crisp, and with the puff sleeve and full skirt it's looking too big/ a smidge sloppy/ not quite right to my eye. It's a pretty coat, but I think you can do better. Im curious to hear what others say though, because when i first saw it i thought Oh, pretty!... then, Hmmm. Awesome finds on the other items!

Oh, I love the hat! As for the jacket, do you tire of things easily? Are you a print person? If you tire of things and/or aren't a big print person, I would pass on the jacket. Also, doesn't it have the corset detail in the back? That's a lot of look, so make sure you love everything about it. It has to be one of those pieces that you find absolutely perfect in every way or you will grow exhausted and bored with it.

The hat is amazing! So perfect for you. Shoes are fine if you need black pumps, they are a staple. I'm not as excited about the coat and glasses.

I like the coat very much but it sure is different from your other clothes which seem so much sleeker. It doesn't hurt to try a new style, and it does fit you, so if you love it why not keep it? It's one of those statement pieces that you won't wear everyday, but on the other hand it's an item that you could wear dressy or casual, so that's a plus.

I like those shoes; they are a good basic and the heel is a nice height.

The glasses are fab.

The coat, as others have said, is more of a statement piece. For me, it would be a bit much, but I don't really have room in my budget for pieces like this unless they are thrifted or unless I REALLY love them. So I would go with that. Is it the kind of thing that is going to make you feel happy every time you put it on (even if you only wear it three or four times a year?) In that case, and if you can afford it, I say go for it! If, on the other hand, you'll feel awkward in it, give it a pass.

That's the same corset trench that I have except I have the red one! Did you look at the red version? That might look less busy. I love that dress and hat on you!

The hat is so cool...definitely a keeper. Shoes too. I like the style of the coat and it looks nice on you. I'm not so crazy about the print but if you like it then go for it!

I think the coat is lovely, but it seems more like a spring coat to me (the colors, mostly). How do you feel in it? Other stuff is fab.
