Does it count as "urgent" when our plane leaves in 38 hrs, we aren't packed, our place is a wreck, the neighbor wants us to get our stuff our of the garage space she kindly let us use months ago, and UPS still has a few more visits to make?

These pix were all taken with the Photo Booth app, so after clicking the button, I had three seconds to run away and pose. I hope you can see shoes and necklace well enough. I can certainly take more, and could press my son into service clicking the shutter. After nearly a year of telling me if I could wear x yet or if it's still too small, I think he's relieved that I can get feedback from another audience. He's very good-natured about it and is generally supportive of my weight loss (his responses when I pulled my back and when climbing the stairs at water park slides was hard for me were part of my motivation), but come on, he's a teen-aged boy being asked to comment on mama's clothes!

I thought my accessories for this dress would be obvious, but maybe not, especially because one person specifically warned me against using a white cardi as a wrap. What kind of top layer would work better? I've never been a high-heeled shoe wearer, so one of these pairs is from 2009, another is nearly that old, and the others just got here (so may be returned). Can you suggest shoes that aren't so high that wouldn't look dowdy with this dress? (Bonus points if they are available at Tampa Nordstrom Rack in size 10).

It's late in the evening for me, so I did this right quick without decluttering the stage or cropping pix. I'm not as gargantuan as the camera angle makes me look. More like 174 cm. For the big day, I will have my hair up, conceal circles under my eyes, and yes, I will shave those legs.

So what do you all think? Let me have it! There is one more dress on the way, so if you really think this one doesn't work for an outdoor "pretty dressy" afternoon wedding, please say so!
