Accessories for outdoor wedding? Added new options

Goodness, I’m needy lately!

We’re attending a late afternoon backyard wedding in early August, however it is in a very toney area of the state - not MY usual stomping grounds! The ink drawing of the home looks to be a beautiful Tudor.
Since it is outdoors I would like to wear this cobalt Eileen Fisher dress. Not that I have multiple dresses to choose from - the only other is the same dress in black.
I already had these black Stuart Weitzman sandals and black clutch. While the low wedge would be ultra comfortable, I thought they might be too visually heavy?

The blush/nude sandals are a block heel ultra suede-ish fabric from Payless. The nude clutch is one already in my closet but the style probably isn’t the best with this dress.

My hesitation about the blush shoes is that the fabric covered heels could get grass stains.

The wrap is new but can be returned.

Do you have a preference or suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!

P.s. the dog is not under consideration as an accessory

I really like the black sandals and black clutch with that lovely dress. I don’t find the shoes visually heavy at all. And the wrap ties everything together beautifully.

I'd opt for the black. They look good (not too heavy) and will certainly be better for grass. I prefer the wrap as in #4 but like the look best without (can be tough with sun coverage, which I totally understand!). If you're thinking the wrap would definitely be on you might try the black sandals with the blush clutch, since the wrap will echo the black enough along with your darker hair color.

Super dress for the occasion!
I vote black shoes— they’re pretty and strappy, not heavy and bookend your hair and I think “ ground” the deep cobalt also.
The black clutch will be great, but also agree try the blush just to see if works better by contrasting with dress. If it looks odd with shoes, just go with black. The dress makes the day, so shoes and bag can be simple.
The scarf is fab- see my rant on wedding wrap but this print is so lovely with the dress. It’d be fun just to carry it!

Prefer the lighter sandal/bag combo. Lengthens your leg line. Great dress sans wrap.

Another vote for the black accessories and #1/2. The darker sandals seem to bookend your hair and look more cohesive. Unfrumped is right about the wrap. Carry it; if needed, you will have it.

Unfrumped, I did see your post about the wrap. I won’t have any grandkids to wrangle, but I certainly understand what you mean by the fuss factor. Looking at the pictures again I see what you mean about the black ‘grounding’ the dress.

bj1111, the leg lengthening was one aspect I was considering but since the general consensus seems to be black maybe I’ll end up saving my money!

Aida, it never occurred to me to mix up the black sandals and the blush bag. You know, I hadn’t even thought of sun coverage! I was planning on having the wrap in case the evening is cool.

Lovely dress! I prefer the black accessories. I find the black sandals more dainty and elegant than the nude ones, and everything is tied together by the black stripe in the shawl. Take the doggie with you! Everybody will envy your adorable "accessory"!

Fab color on you, cannot pick a fave, so you'll have to decide in therms of comfiness-then I guess it is the black sandals with or without the wrap but with the gold clutch!

In reading your description I thought I was going to prefer the lighter shoes but I actually prefer the black! They don't seem heavy at all. I'd love to see them with the gold clutch.

I think the black would work best for walking on grass, and they are not too visually heavy at all. The wrap is pretty - will it just be worn during cool evening temps?

Thanks for your help and suggestions, everyone. The wedding isn’t for a couple of weeks yet, which gave me time to continue obsessing over what to wear.

I’ve decided to stick with the black sandals, as they were already in my closet and feel like sneakers.

On to the topper. I found a couple more to try. The kimono is from Target but doesn’t have a lick of cobalt in it.

I think the striped wrap in #8 is May be too casual in a ‘tablecloth’ way.

Should I just stick with the original scarf? Thanks!

I like the scarf the best.

I think you are right about the original scarf. The big striped wrap is very nice (I have similar!) but too casual.
