Ever have a piece that catches your eye, but that you would never have an occasion to wear it? Or worse, it's perfect, but the price is just too high for your budget? Just for fun, I added a few things that I have had my eye on lately. What would be in your fantasy wardrobe?

That Paris shoe is simply too cute. I see you like florals Do you work them in to your wardrobe normally?

My fantasy wardrobe goes back to childhood when I wanted to be a cowboy. I just knew I would grow up to own a ranch and there would be little houses for my parents and aunt/uncle and others to live in. They couldn't live in main house with me - the horses would be there
So I am constantly looking at western wear (cowboy boots primarily). I get most of it out of my system by buying vintage cowboy shirts for husband. I need a new denim shirt myself. I try to avoid buying too many fantasy items except for turquoise and silver.

Are you a girly girl? Those are awesome! I love the bolero. How sweet! I see dresses that I love! I love long dresses and skirts, but have so few occasions to wear them, I never bother. But I enjoy window shopping!

LOVE that bolero! That would be a fantasy item for me too - partly because I don't know if I could pull it off. I may be a bit too old for it now. But hey, it's a fantasy, right? My other fantasy wardrobe would include a lot of kate spade shoes and handbags, basics from jcrew, and maybe a 5'9" skinny body to go with it!

What cute items! I love the flowered boots and red pumps! My fantasy wardrobe would include this Zac Posen red gown--if I had thousands of dollars to spend on one dress! And I would love to buy more Kate Spade clothing, if it weren't so expensive.

You know, I feel like I'm playing dress up I wear something girly. I always feel like I'm looking at my mom (25 years ago) when I have heels and a skirt on! Funny, after reading your posts (especially christieann and marija), I'm realizing that maybe that IS me after all! Funny, these bits of style that stick with us through our early years. And that Zac Posen dress is AMAZING. That would definitely fit on my list.
