Aaaargh the Levi Ad on Google Ads is driving me crazy.

Has anyone else seen it flashing like crazy in the corner of the forum? it's like subliminal advertising (is there a message in amongst the flashing). I hope it vanishes when I next click refresh!

Google, please do NOT do this to us.

Don't see it over here. I remember when I was in Australia the Google ads on here were Australian based.

I do not have the flashing advert either, it would make me nuts.

Speaking of ads on the forum - has anyone else noticed that many of them are tailored to the topic? Examples: If someone writes about a wedding gown, for example, within minutes ads geared to brides appear; when discussing dogs, ads for dog-based products come up.

Very high tech, but somewhat unsettling. Feels like Big Brother has his eye on us. :-/

Deb - I guess I am not paranoid alone !!! I also feel a bit unsettled. I don't know why. I suppose I feel as if "the cloud" is collecting data on me to try and brainwash me. Mostly, I think, maybe I am afraid that I will just give in to temptation and buy the Orajel.
