A year in YLF : Things I learnt

I am a veteran: *giggles*eye roll*

I know I am still a novice . I don't think I displayed much of my style here but man Angie and you guys have really helped.
Here are few things I have learnt:

1) Blazers donot necessarily mean naughty secretary or air hostess. It can look elegant and polished.Hence the introduction to new wardrobe.
2)I love colors and yes, I am happy only when I wear them. So , why should I hide myself in dull colors.
3) Skinnies look good on me. Why hide my beaautiful pear shape.
4) When Sona said, size is just a number. That really hit me hard. I stopped trying to squeeze myself.
5) Western wear are as much fun as Indian and as long as I wear color , I am happy
6)Above all, You guys made me feel beautiful. I was insecure about my looks. Chubby cheeks, pear shape,mad curls :). But the positive vibes here and the love and acceptance, made me believe in my looks as much as I believe in my brain

Non -looks related:
1)Online friendship is as real as real life friends.
The support , the love I got here when I moved to a new country.Awesome

Great to hear from you! It's hard to believe that a year has gone by already and so many good things have happened for you. Your style is really developing and you are so right about colour, especially in northern climates (I'm in Canada). It just brightens the day.

Thank you Ceit and Ornella... I will try posting WIW... The unearthly hours I work and lack of full length mirror in office and home(*I know horrendous isn't it... but then to my defence it is a furnished rented apartment where I cannot change anything) makes it difficult.
