A watch for DH

I would appreciate your thoughts on some watch choices for my husband for Christmas. I want to buy him a casual, but stylish watch to wear in the weekends. He has a dress watch that he wears to work with his suit that has a metal (gold and silver) strap.

Out of the options here what do you prefer?

My husband dresses quite fashionably, I think. Today he was dressed in a purple Paul Smith dress shirt with a subtle floral pattern, boot cut jeans and brown boots.

I like the second one better. The first one has too much going on on the clock face IMO. I also think the proportions of the second one look more elegant and not as cobbled together.

I think that with something like his outfit today, the second one would be better. My husband has a silver metal watch for work since he wears mostly black and navy during the week. His more casual watch has a brown strap since his weekend footwear and casual belts are brown. Both are totally gorgeous though!
