I own two white-ish leather handbags: a big bright white tote with woven texture and a cream smooth leather satchel. They have both gotten fairly dirty from wear. To make the matter worse, they both have blue marks from jeans that rubbed onto them.
I have googled around for various cleaning advice, and tried everything that looked reasonable, including saddle soap, hand cream and hair spray among many suggestions. Nothing has worked at all and at I am at a loss what to do. Should I bring them to a professional and to which kind? They were both very pricey for me, the cream one is my only "very nice" handbag ( by Kooba) that I splurged on when I defended my PhD and I am really worried about possibly having ruined them.
