I don't think I even have my birthday listed here and don't need a birthday thread... What I hope to express on my birthday is gratitude.

So today, here is to all of you, my forum friends, who are so warm and considerate, funny and insightful, honest and thoughtful, intrepid and generous, kind and brilliant, patient and supportive. Thank you for putting up with my stumbles and successes along this road we all travel. It's about fashion and style here, but it also is so much larger than that. And of course, to Angie, who is all that and a leader, setting the example and the tone for all of us.

If only all the world were more like this amazing community, our biggest global problems truly would be figuring out what shoes to wear!
