A store you've never been in???

I've never been more than ten feet into a Holt Renfrew store (Canada)--saw the prices and turned around and left. That was probably 15 yrs ago. I was just checking their website and saw that many of the brands mentioned here are sold there. I think I may just go on a fact finding mission some day just to feel the cloth and try on some shoes!
Have you been inspired to visit a store you've not been in before because of YLF??

I had never set foot in a .......Nordstrom's until 12 months ago. And that was strictly because of YLF.

Ha, Celia and I went into Holt Renfrew when we met in Yorkdale last month! I would not set a foot there too as their prices are pretty intimidating but with YLF buddy it was fun!
Nordstrom for me too - I did not even hear about it before YLF and if I ever ventured into it by mistake before I would feel intimidated and leave...

Hm. I've never been in a Forever 21 or A&F.

Now Nordstrom holds fond memories, though. My mother was very excited when the first Nordies opened in northern Virginia in the 80s. It became the centerpiece of our shopping trips when my sister and I were teens. Good times:)

I've never gone into a Forever 21 with the intention of buying anything. I've just never felt that anything I've seen advertised there or displayed in their windows was my style.

I was in a JCrew for the first time last week and Nordstrom for the first time earlier this year. They were both nice but I didn't buy anything in either!

I went into Ann Taylor for the first time yesterday due to YLF. I always thought Ann Taylor was matronly old lady clothing until I kept seeing it mentioned here. I tried on a bunch of jeans (no luck). The SA carried them into the gorgeously wallpapered fitting room for me. Everything was clean and modern and sleek, and I thought to myself "I really need to get out of Walmart more often."

YLF has gotten me into Club Monaco, White House/Black Market, Talbots, and Ann Taylor -- to name a few!

Pre-YLF I used to think CM and WH/BM were too trendy or youthful for 50+ me.

I also used to think I wasn't old enough or classic *enough* for Talbots or AT

I've gotten some great deals and great stuff at Holt Renfrew. My lace stirrup tights, my Theory puffer jacket and my Burberry newsboy hat. Their service is up there with Nordstrom. My newsboy hat was part of the fall collection, and I was there in summer. They literally pulled it out of the cardboard shipping box.

YLF got me to go to Nordstrom's for the first time ever with Angie's list of NAS picks (that's what got me started down this whole path--yikes!). And now I've bought a bunch of things there. H&M (for me, I had been there many times for kids' clothes but never for myself), Forever 21, Zara (though I didn't buy anything there), Kate Spade, Loehmann's and the local consignment store are new places I've visited since joining. And Gap & Anthropologie, although I had been to those stores a couple times before.

Stores I'd like to visit because of YLF include Nordstrom Rack and Anne Fontaine. And maybe Ann Taylor and Banana Republic, since I used to buy all my clothes there but haven't been there in over 10 years...it would be nice to see what's new.

I'm curious about Allsaints since that keeps getting mentioned, but not sure it's my style.

I never thought of popping into Club Monaco, J Crew, or Talbots before YLF.
I first visited AllSaints with Seattle YLF members shortly after their store opened in downtown Seattle, so the store has fond memories for me.
Let's see: I've never been in a KMart, Loehmann's, or Nieman Marcus. There are other stores mentioned that I haven't been to (Dillards, Uniqlo, etc.) that I don't think I have seen where I live so I don't think they count.
I haven't set foot in most designer stores, even those that are in my area, because I know they are very far out of my budget.

I have been to WalMart exactly once, stuck with an incredibly slow shopper who was my ride. I kid you not, we were in the store for nearly 4 hours. I swore that once I got out of there I'd be hard-pressed to set foot in a WalMart store again!

I was intimidated while in Ann Taylor but enjoyed it regardless. My next bold move is to go into White House/Black Market and back into Banana Republic just to face my discomfort.

I live in the UK, but went in Nordstrom and Ann Taylor when we were in Vegas, as I heard so much about them on here. I didn't buy anything (I looked in Nordstrom for the NYDJ denim skirt, but they didn't have any), we will probably be back in the US next summer, and I think I might have a list by then ....

But in the spirit of trying all stores, whatever I think of them, I went into Massimo Dutti the other day, and also Zara (not been in there for about 5 years!).

I've had a Nordstrom's Rack less than half a mile from my house for YEARS, and I never darkened the door before YLF.

I've, uh, since made up for lost time...

There are many I haven't been in because I have no choice. I plan on hitting the first accessible Zara, and I've never set foot in an H & M.
