A snowy day closet pics (added coat closet hanger changeout)

Since I got the new hangers in and it's snowy and blowy outside, I thought I'd take the time to post some pics. Some stuff is in the wash, so it's not everything, but pretty close. Mostly the stacks on the closet shelf (black and white jeans are missing, etc).
I have gotten down to about 15 of most items - pants, short sleeve shirts, tanks, dresses, and on and on. Seems like a good number and I don't find myself wanting any more. With a 48" rod, it's about all I can comfortable fit and see anyway

Here goes . . .

#2 all jeans and uniform work shirts (from my 2 jobs I hope to return to!) along with race t shirts and sweats

#4 the coat closet I still need to get in there and switch out hangers and reorganize the scarf/purse baskets. I share it with the BF, and ski gear in a basket on the floor, and a huge box of baseball cards and . . .

#5 belt rack on inside of coat clost

#6 - #10 dresser drawers, from top to bottom.

Yes, #10 is all PJ's - my BF has been buying sets for presents for years now.

EDIT: I just had to switch the hangers in the coat closet! (Pic #12) So much better now The crazy coats on the right are the BF's Mardi Gras wear; he doesn't normally wear technicolor dreamcoats!

Wow! You are soo organized. That undie drawer is organized beyond belief. I just wad the panties up and throw them in but you have them so neatly folded. Great job!!! I absolutely need to start organizing better. I feel so ashamed......:(

Lol Meredith . . .some might say OCD. but thanks! I can honestly say that no matter how many clothes I have had, I have *always* known exactly what is in there. I can't fathom having stuff crammed to where I don't know what I've got.

My closets seems to go haywire on a weekly basis. They never stay put!
Where are your fiancee's belongings? Did you successfully evacuated him to the guest room's closet (LOL)?

The BF's closet is opposite mine in the master - same 4' size. We share the spare room one (slightly smaller I think) for coats and whatnot. I have the big dresser, though, while he's still stuck with a 3 drawer acrylic Walmart special :}

thanks Rae. That's running gear, yoga pants and leggings, layer tanks and tees kind of stuff. Ideally, I get my sweater drawer in the same shape but it hasn't happened just yet since the move. I guess only the shorts/swimsuits drawer isn't folded this way. It just works better for me to see what's there rather than digging under stuff, you know?

Oooh!! For me (with my OCD tendencies) this is as delicious as dessert! You're super organized. Like Rae, I'm delighted by your tank/T drawer. I try to do that, too, but mine, like Zap's, seems to get all crazy on a weekly basis!

Angie, we have moved back to Tahoe, and it's as permanent as we can hope The BF does own this condo and we'd love to stay forever, but work often calls him back to FL, even when we least expect it. Ideally, we'd find great jobs with great pay and benefits here in town and never ever leave again
Suz, thanks for the OCD love lol. I have to say, the ONE white skirt hanger now in my closet is driving me cuckoo and I have the overwhelming urge to strip the white vinyl off to expose the metal beneath!

So organized! Very impressive. I tried organizing my t-shirt like you have, but they became a jumbled mess within a few days. Your photos are inspiring me to have another go at organizing, though.

Ooh this all looks so pretty! I fold my stored items the same way that you do - makes it so easy to see everything and to keep the drawer neat and organized. I'm glad that you made it back to Tahoe - although I am really having a hard time imagining you in cold-weather clothes. Its going to take a huge adjustment in my head to picture you tromping around in snow and dealing with ice and sleet and all that stuff! You're the Florida sunshine girl!

This all looks fantastic Mo! I know what you mean about the lone white skirt hanger now driving you nuts. Will you have to order another 50-pack just to replace it to match, lol? Good work on a snowy day!

Claire, I have to admit, I moved my skirts to the far right (next to the hanging slacks) so it didn't stick out in the middle lol!! I figure it's kinder on the rod to have the heavy tiers near the edges anyway. I've been hanging my skirts next to my dresses for at least 20 years so it may take getting used to

It must be hard to switch from such a warm climate to cold (at least partially cold) but welcome back to Tahoe. Such a gorgeous place to live I would imagine.
We visit south of there (Alta, CA) a few times a year and I like to drive up to Tahoe when we have the chance.

I would try to organise my tees like this now since my so many tees and tops are wardrobe orphans as I can't find them stacked one upon the other.
