I ended up returning the silver oxfords - they were cutting into the side of my foot after a wear around the house. I had ordered these JS sneakers and ended up wearing them right out of Nordstrom and for several hours barefoot. The metallic keeps them from being too gearish in my mind. They are super comfy and work on my wide foot although I would say that's because of the laces.
