Also, I can't find anything interesting to post about because I cant do NAS in South Africa and my current outfits seem to just be rinse/repeats at the moment.

So I challenge you - post your fab or unfab sleepwear! I will do mine tonight!

Hil, how funny! I was thinking about a pj post yesterday. I struggle with pj's that look good as once I am without a certain support garment nothing works lol. Anyway, yesterday after work I found some mix and match pj's. very simple, and in lovely soft tshirt material. Pants with elastic waist and long sleeve v neck top. I got a set in black and another in light grey, and don't tell anyone but I pop on an Ah Bra, and I look acceptable. They are super comfy to put on when I get home and to lounge in, in the evening. I was thinking of posting a pic...will see what I can do.

Hmm.. not sure. You see I wear a tee shirt dress/nightie not pj's. I'll enjoy others photos though.

Um, lucky you, I am still in PJs. Still with bedhead and all. Stayed up too late last night and still working on my first cup of coffee. About to go change to go for a swim or a run/walk (trying to decide which). I put on a bra under my tank just so as not to traumatize the interwebs. Typical summer PJs for me -- soft cotton tank top from Target and lightweight Shimera shorts. I have a few of each that I mix and match.

Haha, twilight zone Global YLF obsession with PJs.

I was in the shop today, looking at the PJs for myself (none, everything is short) so I thought of asking about sleepwear here.

I actually recently bought some summer nighties that I love. Due to chronic pain I occasionally have days when even getting dressed is too much so I decided that I needed some things that were pretty as well as comfy. I'll post (or link to) some photos this evening!

Mine would be X rated, I run too hot to sleep in anything (though I'm wondering once the hot flashes arrive if I'll be better off wearing a layer to absorb the sweat?)

But--thread hijack of sorts--you can also give us YOUR melktert recipe, since Angie makes the hard one where you beat the egg whites and I'm too lazy fot that. When I lived in SA I found an impossible-pie type recipe that you just mixed and poured and it even formed the crust, but I have no idea what happened to that one.

Loving the pics! I'm off to bed shortly so I will snap a pic before I climb into bed.

L'Abeille : something like this?

¾ cup self-raising flour
2 cups milk
3 eggs
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
25g melted butter
Pinch salt
½ teaspoon fine cinnamon

Put all the ingredients together into a bowl or food processor and beat to a smooth batter. Pour into a buttered pie dish, approximately 23cm in diameter. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the top. Bake for 40 minutes at 180C. Serve warm or cold.

Perfect! Thanks Hil. We don't get self-raising flour here, it's just 1 tsp of baking powder per cup of flour, isn't it?

L'abielle - I think it's 2 teaspoons per cup of flour.

So here is me, just woken up, bed head and all - in pjs that almost match DD's - pink t-shirt and black pants with star pattern.

Cindy - your nighties are cute!!!
