Thanks for the report. My linen Ts are getting a real workout this summer so I'll be checking out Gap for some replacements.
Just a heads up about Gap changing their sizing, though. The sizing may have less to do with so-called "vanity" sizing (a dubious concept in my mind) and more to do with manufacturing practices. It is very common for manufacturers to fudge pattern sizing here and there to fit more pattern pieces on a bolt of fabric because doing so can significantly reduce production costs. Since Gap outsources to a host of different, off shore manufacturers who are competing for contracts, this seems a far more likely explanation than Gap doing a major overhaul in its fitting models and pattern designing. Incidently that fudging is why a size 8 pant in one colour can fit differently in another color. Different bolt, different manufacturer, different fit.
