I have noticed people wearing oversized coats for some time and I would like to find one of these top coats that is long but slightly lighter and still have a touch of cashmere.

I say this because I bought the most fantastic camel topcoat a number of years ago and it was a cashmere blend from Uniqlo. Having that little bit of cashmere makes the drape and touch so soft. Having that is somewhat essential to me. The coat I have is not for cold weather. It keeps me only slightly warm, but is nice on a cold California evening. Attached is my coat and then also a couple of inspiration photos that I recently saw on Instagram of Dan Levy and his friends. In one, Dan Levy is wearing a double-breasted coat and in the other photo, I like both women’s oversized coats (the camel has single buttons, the black I can’t tell). I already have my shorter camel one and I’m not sure what color to get because black may overwhelm me, yet is a pretty basic color (so navy, burgundy, loden green?). The bigger question is where to buy one. Uniqlo doesn’t seem to carry any topcoats with the 10% cashmere other than a man’s coat and they are sold out. Otherwise, I would’ve tried an XXS (leave no retail stone unturned). Any percentage of cashmere is fine. It’s just that the one I have now is 10%. Quince is another option because I don’t want to make this an investment coat. The reviews said that their merino wool coats were somewhat stiff and didn’t flow. If you happen to have any suggestions after looking at these photos for where to shop, I would love to hear from you. There’s a possibility I may go to Paris in April and a friend called yesterday asking me if I was interested. I am and I’m thinking that a coat like that would be helpful. Thank you for your input.
