Actually it's my first official rubric. I spent some time going through my closet yesterday, trying on and purging items...and thinking about my style journey (as Angie so wisely advises us to do). I find this time of year a great time to do this kind of analysis. The holiday season is over, there's not much available in stores to distract me, and I can pause for a moment and assess things.

So! Here is the style rubric I've finally worked up for myself:

Elegant Minimal Arty Neutral (NAME...if you read it backwards!)

I arrived at this rubric after so many of your comments seemed to mention these adjectives when describing my looks. The "Arty" is more aspirational for me at this point, but I am edging toward a more arty look and thought it would be useful to incorporate it into the rubric to keep me focused and moving forward style-wise.

I DO want to add that Edgy and Boho elements will occasionally make their way into my looks....but they aren't my primary looks, so I didn't include them in the rubric.

What do you think? Basically, if I could look the way I do in the photo all the time, I'd be a happy fashion camper!
