Deb, yes. Somebody already marked this as spam, and I would agree with them. If it isn't someone here to discuss their own personal style, then feel free to mark their post as spam. It doesn't matter whether they are selling something explicitly, or just doing some market research.
Sometimes it isn't even commercial. We occasionally get people posting about doing a survey for a school project or something like that. That can also be treated as spam.
