I eyed these Proenza Schouler pants back in the summer during NAS but never pulled the trigger, having doubts about the style for me, and then they sold out.
Well, I must have had a restock alert set up because I became aware that one pair came back into stock, in one of my likely sizes. I was ordering a couple of sale items to try so I popped them into my cart as well. The price was half of the original price so I figured why not try?
My expectations were very low. I struggle with pants, and trendy or designer styles often just don’t work on my body. They arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised that I actually like them on me! They’re a little bit big, but that just means they sit a bit lower on my hip, instead of up on my waist, and because of that I can actually tuck a top with them. They’re quite roomy but I like the ease, and they’re long enough to work well with a high-shaft bootie.
I threw them on with the shirt I was wearing today, and these Calvin Klein booties I’m considering. I’ve been on the hunt for a refined pair of grey booties and there is very little out there. This pair is pretty promising though, and the sale price is seriously good. The comfort seems decent but I’m going to try wearing them around the house before committing.
I’ve already decided the pants are keepers! My husband likes them too.
