I thought the house where we went for Thanksgiving would be cold.
The interest in my outfit was in the jacket/blazer,
The house was warm.
We took a walk and I got overheated.
Cuter shoes came off for the walk and got left in the car.
Jacket had to come off for the rest of the day.
The rest of my outfit was very plain, except for a small necklace. I felt my outfit looked like I was staying home, not festive at all.
Luckily really only one adult had something really special on.
Basic lesson re-learned. Wear something interesting under my jacket or sweater.
Good news-I have an idea what to wear under the jacket next time.
