I have been trying to contact Bloomingdales to correct the shipping address on an order that I accidentally placed using my old address. So I call their "customer service" number, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a real person on the line. Seriously, every option on their menu led to yet another automated message with no option to actually speak to a person. Argh. Yet another reason why I hate talking on the phone.

Anyway, I have sent an email to their CS email address, hopefully I will get a response soon. In the meantime, I think the item has actually shipped already, which is annoying, although UPS says the sender can still change the delivery address (the recipient can't change it until they try to deliver it once) once it's on the way. I am not hopeful though. Grr.

Sorry, just needed to rant. It's not the end of the world (I can actually go to the old place to get the package if need be, or I can get my friend who still lives there to pick it up), but I am annoyed. Just be aware that if you order something from Bloomie's online, you may never be able to talk to a real person about it. I wish everyone had online chat like Nordstrom's!
