Have a 100% cotton crew neck sweater, had for a few years. It has been living in the bottom of my laundry basket for quite a while. have not been able to trash it though after trying several spot removers, etc. to get out three quarter size dark stains in the front with no success. so finally pulled it out-and scrubbed the spots with very warm water ( label says cold water wash) and hand soap--wa la la the spots are gone and the very warm water did not shrink it. Now it is like having a new sweater, as it is sort of oversized, and maybe not to heavy to have a fluid look.
