I think these pictures are all keep/return (to the second hand shop). Except for the kids - I am keeping them!
1. WIW - mainly to show Aida my Aida sweater (as it will henceforth be called).
2. I honestly think this recently thrifted coat looks ridiculous in this picture, but I am wondering if it is redeemable with a different outfit or hemming. Let's just say for $2 nothing ventured, nothing gained.
3 I recently thrifted this j.crew boyfriend (I researched it) jacket and sort of like it. I am wondering if it fits the oversized coat trend or is just silly looking
4 In case you are wondering what is going on under my hat - I have decided to grow out my hair until we fly to NY this summer and am resisting dying it at least until then or maybe ever
5. Another thrifted question mark. Very oversized bf jeans. Black Orchid, thrifted for $2. I would wear them, but have not decided to keep them, if that makes sense.
6. Purim is the dress up equivalent of Halloween and these are my superheroes! As I said, I am keeping them!

I dare you to try to return those superheroes!! They are adorable! But I think they would put up quite a fight if they thought they were going to be traded back....

LOVE you in the Aida sweater. You look so long and lean there and so happily relaxed!

White coat: I am unsure. The thing that gives me pause is the pockets, I think. What is the fabric and what time of year would it work best for, do you think?

Jacket in 3 is not silly at all. I do not know if it is on trend, so will leave that to more knowledgeable eyes, but the fit is good on you in the shoulder from what I can see.

LOVE your hair!!

Boyfriends...hmmm. I'm a boyfriend lover, as you know, (wow, don't tell my husband that!) but these seem to overwhelm you a bit. I don't know if perhaps taking some of the slouch from the bottom would improve matters?

Shevia, I have no idea about the clothes but your hair is beautiful. You have some decent silver going on there! Transitioning completely would be very dramatic and you could totally pull it off. If you decide you still want some brown, a silver chunk in the front would be really, really cool. Just my opinion! I love the story of Esther--I didn't know Purim was a dress up feast. How fun!

Oooh! I love the black and cobalt sweater, it really looks fantastic! Happy to be almost-sweater-twins with you ^^ Not sure on the coat in #2, but it looks promising to me too. What is your concern with that one? The BF blazer in #3 looks great to me as does your lovely hair and face in #4 The BF jeans in #5 fit similarly to my husband jeans, which I like to wear with a really bulky roll, but I know that they were not to everyone's liking. Sample outfits below for you! But of course the superheroes steal the show!

Thanks so much! I am happy that my hair is getting some approval, since I do feel even odder than usual. Suz, the coat is pale yellow and I am not at all sure about it either - this is a sort of interesting item that I like to play with and consider but not necessarily wear (although I did wear it once, but it was dark and no one saw). Claire, everyone used to dress up as Esther, Mordechai, etc. but now it is just any old thing, just like Halloween. Amiable and Joy, thank you - they are pretty amazing super heroes if I may say so! Aida, thank you so much for the pictures - the first one looks like a catalog shot and I will try to emulate. I am super glad you saw my Aida sweater and honored to be sweater (non-identical) twins with you!

I love all of these except that long jacket, which looks a bit like an off-dress to me. Adore the last BFs and they reminded me of Aida before I even saw that she posted! Good finds. And love the close-up, you're beautiful!

I actually really like the jeans on you.

The coat seems to fit you really well through your torso while rippling around the bottom a little. I think it might look really cool if you chopped it to mid-thigh.

Love the Aida sweater and BF jeans. The coat could maybe be rescued if it wasn't for the big pockets- I think they are too overwhelming. I'm uncertain of the BF jacket - it seems like it is large on purpose (which is good), but I'm no expert

I agree with Claire and others - your hair is so fab! I'm sure you will look gorgeous in silver hair, too. The Aida-sweater is so beautiful on you. I'm curious about the coat, there is something about it. Maybe it could be dyed??
