I just wanted to share a find that worked really well for me on a trip to Germany this summer. While overseas I weathered one of the beastly heatwaves with temperatures over 100 degrees, but when I first arrived, and also by the time I left, temperatures dropped overnight into the 60s or even high 50s. You just never know! This little windbreaker was the perfect thing. It is so featherweight that I could stash it in my purse. The hood was handy for light rain as well. It felt breathable and yet warm enough to keep me comfortable when the temperature started to drop in the evenings. It is also surprisingly chic and versatile. I put it on over dresses or layered outfits and felt modern and fab. I realize from the photo it might be hard to believe this jacket is so versatile, but in person it is a really great piece. Admittedly it helps that I like bright warm colors.
To give credit where it is due, I was chatting with a Nordies sales associate about my trip when I was shopping for a plane outfit, and she pointed the jacket out to me. I would never have come to the idea on my own! Still amazed how well it worked out.
