A Good Spring Shoe??

Hi Ladies,

Feel like I need to refresh my Spring / Summer footwear.

May I ask what you think of these?

I tried them on in black tonight tho I quite like the navy. I left them behind but I'm thinking I really like them. I'm a little crazy over lace ups at the moment lol.

They could work with dresses and pants and I don't have anything similar.

How do they read to you? Modern? Frumpy? Fun?

Appreciate your thoughts.

I like these very much and I love the navy, especially as we are going into warmer weather. Although for you black may be better given it is your colour. These read modern and fun, not frumpy to me. I have a similar pair of shoes by Molllini in navy and I have found them incredibly versatile - being able to be worn through spring, summer and autumn. I think your shoes would be similar.

I find them modern and fun. I love mixing navy and black and would thus go for them in navy to wear with all your stylish black layers.

Definitely fun. The perforations keep them from being frumpy. I vote navy which should go with your black items.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I think you are all correct in suggesting the navy. Even to my eye the black looked too heavy. I need to just mentally review my wardrobe to be confident re the navy. I do already mix navy and black do I think they should work xxx

Those are great Deborah.

A couple of things for consideration... I always wear little invisible socks in my oxfords, which would be tough to do here because of the perforations. Also... I would probably only wear navy shoes with black if I had something else navy in the outfit to make it look intentional. You know I love the combo, but just one piece can look (to my eye) like a mistake. IF you feel the same way, can you do this?

Acevennia I'm in the Southern Hemisphere :(. They are from Rubi Shoes in Australia. Not pricey, not leather but great for a more trend based styles xx

I can wear these with bare feet:). Because I wear so much black I reckon I could do all black plus blue shoes. My eyes are blue /green so I wonder if eyes count for bookending lol??? I do have quite a bit of navy in my wardrobe now so I think I can tie in the shoes. I am tempted to buy the black also lol!!!

I love seeing how you mix navy and black! These are brilliant shoes, and I thought of Angie's white ones when I saw them. If they're not too pricey, the black might be a good duplicate, too.
